On 27 November 2020, the Government of Norway resolved that the bill to implement EU’s regulation on market abuse shall enter into force on 1 March 2021. This will imply certain amendments to the rules for issuers on Oslo Børs, Euronext Expand and Euronext Growth Oslo. Previous decisions and statements are contained in annual collections published by Oslo Børs. The collection consists of excerpts from Oslo Børs' decisions, letters and other statements that are assumed to be of interest because they illustrate interpretations or practices.

The purpose of this consultation is to present the amended rules in Euronext Growth Oslo Rulebook Part II, and to provide all stakeholders with an opportunity to provide feedback on the changes. Today, half of Democrats and about four in ten independents are satisfied, compared to about one in five Republicans. Across regions, half of residents in the San Francisco Bay Area (52%) and the Inland Empire (50%) are satisfied, compared to fewer elsewhere. Across demographic groups, fewer than half are satisfied, with the exception of Latinos (56%), those with a high school degree or less (55%), and those making less than $40,000 (53%). Among partisans, an overwhelming majority of Democrats (78%) and 55 percent of independents say it is very important, compared to 43 percent of Republicans. Majorities across regions and all demographic groups—with the exception of men (49% very important)—say abortion rights are very important when making their choice among candidates for Congress.

The Issuer Rules for Shares will continue to apply for Issuers of Shares, Equity Certificates, Depository Receipts and other Financial Instruments with characteristics similar to Shares to the extent appropriate. The collections are only available in Norwegian, but some decisions and statements are in English. Please note that not all decisions and statements are translated to English. Compliance with the Code of Practice will be based on a «comply or explain» principle.
